Meet the owner
Jonny Brook
Jonny grew up around chainsaws and pickup trucks in north Alabama. He started climbing professionally in his early twenties and spent more than a decade working under bigger tree services — learning the right (and wrong) ways to take down a tree.
In 2012 he started Brook Tree Service so he could run a crew the way he'd always wanted to: small enough to know every customer's name, careful enough to leave a yard better than they found it, and honest enough to talk a customer out of work they didn't actually need.
What you can count on
- Showing up on time. If we said 8:00, the truck rolls into your driveway at 8:00.
- A written estimate before any work starts. No "we'll figure it out as we go."
- Insurance you can verify. Liability and workers' comp — we'll send proof if you'd like to see it.
- Cleanup as part of the job. Not an add-on, not a "next visit" — same day, before we leave.
Beyond the trees
When he's not in a rope, Jonny's likely on the lake, helping out at church, or somewhere with his family. He's a north Alabama guy through and through — which is why if you call him at 9 PM about a tree on your roof during a storm, he's almost certainly going to answer.
